Nothing is better than almost being done with college. Sure, it's pretty nice to be away from home, and it's cool to be in the vicinity of so many of your friends, but let's be honest. Everyone is excited to be done with tests and papers when that final month hits. However, nothing makes the final weeks of school worse than seeing all your pals at other colleges already out and having a blast. It makes the fun parts of college crappy, and the crappy parts even crappier. The workers of Dunder Mifflin embody the truly unbearable parts of the last few weeks of college.
1. Trying to enjoy cafeteria food
By now you've had everything in the cafeteria at least five times, and you can't afford to get takeout again. Oh, and your friend's mom just posted a photo of a welcome home dinner made entirely from scratch. Hooray.
2. People asking to hang out, but you aren't home yet
Yeah, I'd love to hang out, but I still have two more weeks of class before I can leave. Raincheck?
3. Vacation photos. Everywhere.
Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, Tumblr and... LinkedIn? Seriously? You put vacay photos on LinkedIn? Now I know you're just rubbing it in.
4. You can't binge watch a Netflix series
5. You begin to question why you chose a school that gets out so late
Seriously, this feels like torture.
6. Focusing in class is 100000% harder
The sun is shining. The birds are chirping. It is just too nice outside to pay attention.
7. People constantly ask when you get done with school.
Please don't remind me.
8. Suddenly everything is more interesting than studying
Doing the dishes doesn't seem that bad anymore. And while you're at it, might as well sweep the floor... and organize your desk.
9. You have to fill half a page to finish the paper, but you're out of stuff to say
You've already upped the font from 12 to 12.5, and you made the margins bigger. You're fresh out of ideas.
10. Your entire being is fueled by coffee and stress
11. When you finally get out for the summer
You know that all your friends will have to go back to school way earlier than you. Then it is your turn to gloat.
