Most high schools are getting ready to start classes for the new year. There are some students especially those in high school who think school is boring or unnecessary and some don’t. Yes, sitting in a desk all day and learning can be boring, but in the end it will be worth it.

If you are in high school, enjoy it! It does not last forever. Trust me, I know I am about to start my seinor year of high school and I have mixed emotions about it. In May I graduate high school and start a new chapter of my life, the real world. Which means going to work, paying bills, going to college, etc. I am not sure if I am ready for that.

Remember whatever you do in high school can follow you and into your future.

1. Most employers require a high school diploma and a copy of your transcript. In some colleges they require a certain grade point average to even attend. So it is very important that you make sure you are doing your best in all of your classes.

2. Employers and even colleges will see your attendance record If you can not show up and be on time for school, then how can you be trusted to show up on time for work? In college attendance is strict. In most colleges you have two chances and after that you are removed from the course. Make sure you try to be on time at all times. One of my teachers have the saying “ if you are on time you are late, if you are early you’re on time”. Punctuality is always important, most defiantly in the professional world

Enjoy your high school years. It will go by faster than you expect. Believe me, I’m there. Get involved and make it count and at the end you will thank your teachers nd all of those that helped you along the way.

1. Why is Wilson Hall so complicated to navigate? Even as a senior, I still get lost in Wilson. As a freshman, I was warned about the unnecessary complexity of the building, was laughed at by upperclassman for my confused looks on the first day of school and walked and rewalked the whole hall before finding my classroom. #annoying.

Blair Waldorf For governor of new york

Cynthia Nixon, a.k.a Miranda from Sex and the City, is running for governor of New York. I think that this would be the best decision that has been made in a while solely based off of the fact that almost no one knows New York like the cast of Sex and the City. This got me thinking about who else would be a good candidate to take over the city of dreams. Then I realized that Blair Waldorf, if she were a real person, would be my number one choice for governor. Here are five reasons why Queen B would be an excellent ruler.

America's biggest party schools
Determining which schools are the biggest party schools is often subjective, but a some statistical factors you could use to make a judgement include (1) consumption, (2) drug usage, (3) strong greek life presence, (4) campus police records etc.

When a student at Auburn was recently asked, she explained: "These schools usually have, like, a super vibrant social scene, lots of Greek life (like my amazing sorority, duh!), and tons of exciting events happening all the time. I mean, we're talking about tailgates, themed parties, mixers with fraternities, and just, like, so much fun. But don't get me wrong, we still, like, study and go to class and all that. It's just that at a party school, the social life and having a good time are, like, major priorities for students."
