Crisp cool Fall air, pumpkin-spiced lattes, a stack of freshly bought notebooks, (the kind that are too pretty to write in) a box of brand spanking new highlighters and colored pens, and a closet full of cozy flannel shirts and cable-knit sweaters.

Fall is here and I could not be happier.

Time to go back to school shopping! I made it much easier for you this year...I made a list of the hottest new back to school merchandise to make your life easier and that much more fabulous:

This is like the coolest idea ever! Target, you have officially upped your game with me! Now every time i get bored in class or a meeting, I have a creative outlet to tend to. Genius.

If you are on the go like me, i think these might just do the trick! Make your overnight oats or chopped salad in these mason jars, throw them (not literally) in your bag and go to school. I have been looking for a set of good ones, and i think these are the clear (maybe not so clear..) winners!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.
