Sam Edozie's Shocking Miss From Eight Yards!

If you are a fan of Manchester City and you follow them closely you probably saw Sam Edozie's crazy miss from eight yards during their game against Swansea City. The Nigerian player was trying to take a corner and in an instant he missed his header from just inside the area. This was a massive mistake by the former Everton defender as he was close to winning a goal.

Pep Guardiola's admiration for Sam Edozie

Sam Edozie is a rising star in Manchester City's U23 ranks. He has already scored three goals in five matches under Brian Barry-Murphy. Despite not being the first name on the team sheet, Pep Guardiola has high hopes for the Nigerian under-19.

Sam Edozie has been part of the Manchester City squad preparing for the new season. During the summer, the teenager has enjoyed a stint with the reserve side. His performance at Preston North End in a friendly was a major talking point.

Several clubs were interested in signing the youngster, including Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen. Eventually, Edozie signed with Manchester City.

He has been a member of the city's Under-23 side since July. Its most recent outing was a 4-1 win over Blackpool. In his last three matches, he has found the net.

The team has a good record in the UEFA Youth League and has several players with the potential to be world class in the years to come. One such player is winger Sam Edozie.

The team's first match of the season is in the Carabao Cup against Wycombe on Tuesday. Hopefully, it will be a positive start for the team. A victory would mean a second consecutive EFL Trophy success for the club.

Guardiola's admiration for John Obi Mikel

A few months back I was lucky enough to witness a match involving some of the world's biggest names in the game. The highs of giddiness were aplenty. One of the more notable moments was a conversation with a man named John Obi Mikel about the club's current heavies, albeit on a low-key and brief note. This was a great chance to get to the nitty gritty about the biz and learn a thing or two about the gents. Hence, a short list of the best bets and some kinks. Most importantly, I have learned a few lessons about life after football. The big takeaway is that I have finally put the rest of my life to good use. Not to mention I am now a bona fide man.

John Obi Mikel's move to Trabzonspor

Nigerian midfielder John Obie Mikel has signed a two-year deal with Turkish Super League club Trabzonspor FC. He will join fellow compatriots Anthony Nwakaeme and Ogenyi Onazi in the Black Sea Storm team.

The former Chelsea midfielder has been linked to a move to Turkey. According to mrinfo(m), Mikel was expected to sign a one-year deal with the club.

Having played at the Turkish Super League before, Mikel will now play at the fourth-tier division. His contract is set to end in 2021, but Trabzonspor has the option to extend it by another year.

In addition to his move to Turkey, the 27-year-old will also be joining Kuwaiti Premier League side Al Kuwait SC. Mikel has played for the Nigerian national team, winning three FA Cups and the African Cup of Nations.

Mikel made his international debut in 2005. He had short spells at Norwegian club Lyn and Chinese side Tianjin TEDA. Aside from his national team, he has also represented his country in the Olympic Games in 2016.

Mikel will be making his debut against Istanbul Basaksehir on Sunday. However, he has been criticising the Turkish league when the coronavirus pandemic was at its peak.

He has been a great asset for his country during their Africa Cup of Nations campaign in 2013, as well as their silver medal at the Olympics. He has 88 caps for Nigeria yalla shoot

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
