Russell Westbrook Interview with Walid Ibrahim
Bleacherreport.com

This week we have Walid “Wale” Ibrahim. I met him my sophomore year at Cazenovia College where we bonded over 2k and hooping almost every weekend. Hands down one of the nicest and talented people I met at caz as well as tall. You can catch him now giving motivational speeches and spitting fire freestyles on his social medias.

Q: Who are you?

1. My name is Walid Ibrahim and I am 22 years old. You can find me on Twitter/IG:@8ighth__, and Facebook:Walid Wale

Q:How did you find out about Russell Westbrook?

2. I Found out about Russell Westbrook while I became a Kevin Durant fan right before they transitioned to the Thunder.

Q:First reaction when you saw him play?

Amazon.com

3. First reaction: never seen anything like him, ever. Especially at that height. The way he would try to break the rim with every dunk.

Q:Favorite game by the Brodie?

CBSSports.com

4. Favorite Russ Game: EASILY when he hit a fucking BUZZER BEATER over the Denver Nuggets to win the game while MAKING HISTORY with averaging a triple double in the SAME GAME. Legendary.

Q:Player's Biggest Weakness?

5. He's his own biggest weakness. He doesn't know how to turn off the engine sometimes

Q:Player's Biggest Strength?

6. His leadership and passing ability is his biggest strength. Doesn't matter who he's facing, who's had a bad day, he STILL goes 150 percent every day and fears nothing.

Q:Keep,Trade, and Let Walk away: Russ,KD,Harden

Slamonline.com

7. Keep Russ, Trade KD, walk away from Harden. Only because Westbrook was the franchise. Nobody else could've established them and kept them together like he did. KD doesn't have the leadership maturity Russ has. James Harden does, but his system wouldn't have applied to OKC, so that's that(still one of the greatest to ever play)

Q:Reaction to him being traded?

8. I was a little hurt, but every team rebuilds after being stagnant. Russ will forever be OKC. But it had to be done. They needed to reset.

Q:Predictions for this season?

9. Russ and James will prove to be a nasty combination. I give it three months. It's gonna be a lot to handle for people

Q:Predictions for the rest of his career?

10. I think Russ will at least hit one more WCF if not a NBA finals. He has two more years to snag a ring. After that, it's not happening. Easy future hall of famer.

Thank you to Walid for his time to answer these questions. I tune in every Wednesday for his fire freestyles for #WaWednesdays and you should too! Also check out his motivational videos also!!! He will also be back for a Kevin Durant Interview later on.

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

10 Things Only Equestrians Understand

Yes, it IS a sport. Yes, I fall all the time. No, I do not ride in jeans with a cowgirl hat on.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.

No Matter How Challenging School Gets, You Have To Put Your Health First — A Degree Won't Mean Anything If You're Dead

Some of the best advice I've ever received was from my social studies teacher in sophomore year of high school. He stated, "If you don't know it at midnight, you're not going to know it for the 8 a.m. exam, so get some sleep."

It's such a simple piece of advice, but it holds so much accuracy and it's something that the majority of college students need to hear and listen to. "All-nighters" are a commonality on college campuses in order to cram in studying for an exam that is typically the next day.
