Rush Advice That No One Gave Me

The truth about sorority recruitment

And just like that, the sorority recruitment process is over! Throughout the two weekends that consisted of rush, I learned valuable lessons I wish to pass on to those who have not gone through the process yet:

1. Rush is VERY fun

2. Rush is VERY tiring

3. You have never experienced the level of exhaustion that you feel after you spend 11 hours in one day at rush

4. You will go home with a headache on most days

5. It will be very stressful

6. But, again, it is still very fun

7. You will meet so many people throughout the process

8. You will get sick with a cold or the flu or something

9. Everything works out for a reason

10. You will end up where you are meant to be

11. The sororities know you better than you know yourself

12. You will instantly love your new home and all of your new sisters

Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
