Professor Stacie Lents, Director of Acting here at Fairleigh Dickinson University, has written a heartfelt and insightful play about five women and their time in a correctional facility. Set in modern day and inspired by the stories and lives of real women, we get an inside look on the hardships of living in prison. Commonly, those incarcerated are all depicted as inhumane; monsters, even. Run-On Sentence gives us the untold reality of those convicted and living behind bars. Incredibly raw and unbelievably moving, Run-On Sentence teaches us that inmates are so much more than their crimes, they're people.
