Hello Everyone. My name is Robert Marcello. I'm a freshmen at Dean College. Today I will be talking about the issue of "Deflategate". I'm a huge Patriots fan and it hurts me to see a player like Tom Brady be so criticized and betrayed by his fellow players and officials in the NFL. In the 2015 during the AFC Championship game Tom Brady was accused of being the culprit for telling Patriots ball boys to pump out some of the air pressure of the footballs. The New England Patriots went on to win that game and win the Superbowl two weeks after. In the mouths following, the NFL began in investigation on the issue and found Tom Brady had some involvement in the footballs loosing air pressure. On May 11th 2015 Tom Brady was given a 4 game suspension for not cooperating with the investigation. Brady then appealed his 4 game suspension on May 12th 2015. This process to a long time but finally on September 3rd 2015 judge Richard M. Berman vindicated Tom Brady's 4 game suspension. Brady was able to play the whole 2015-2016 NFL season. He came up 1 game short of the Superbowl losing to the Denver Broncos 20-18. During the whole season the NFL applied judge Berman's ruling of the 4 game suspension being vindicated. On April 25th the NFL ruling of Tom Brady's suspension was reinstated. This is the second time Tom Brady has been personally attacked by the NFL on a issue that really didn't have to go as far as it did. Now with all the background I have just disposed on you now let gets to the real reason for this article. I am some points to make that Tom Brady is innocent of all charges of Deflating footballs.

The first reason is they really have no scientific evidence that suggest he did it. In a cool environment the footballs might lose the air pressure of the ball. The second evidence is that the "Wells Report" that was given to the NFL by a name named Ted Wells. The evidence Mr. Wells gave the NFL really doesn't tell them the whole truth. Throughout the report it says "More likely then not" is not the real indication of what really happened. The last reason is the NFPA had evidence that Tom Brady didn't due it. The NFLPA went into the Wells report and found that Roger Goodell, the NFL Commissioner wrongfully treaded Tom Brady in his punishment. I hope that my evidence brings justice to Tom Brady.
