Sometimes you just need to escape life for a little while and sometimes that may look like getting in your car and driving. Whether you have a destination in mind or not, road trips can soothe the soul. They give you time to clear your head, listen to some good music, and enjoy some time to yourself or with good friends, whichever you choose.

One of my favorite road trips to take is jumping in my car with my best friends and driving anywhere to watch the sunset. I think we would travel anywhere to see the perfect sunset. I can remember one time when we drove an hour just to find the perfect spot. It's important to have friends like that in your life as well. The ones that encourage you to be spontaneous and to enjoy life.

It's important for everyone to take some time for themselves and road trips are the perfect opportunity to do that. When you feel overwhelmed or like you need to just get away for just a little while, call a friend or go by yourself and just drive; wherever you want. To a distant coffee shop, or a flea market, or to see a sunset. Or even if you are
