The 10 Struggles Of Returning Back To College As Told By The Kardashians

Summer vacation has officially come to an end and you couldn't be more excited to be back on campus. No parents telling you what to do. No siblings stealing the remote, only to flip it back to their shows and interfere with your recordings of the Bachelorette. No more awkward moments of questioning from parents about your dreaded and unknown future. You've regained your freedom, space to call your own and independence. You can't wait to reunite with college friends and you definitely can't wait to be back in those dark, wet, and smelly frat party basements. There's so much that you've missed and so much to look forward to that it nearly overrides the fact that you've forgotten what your major is, what classes you're taking or even how to hold a pencil properly. The only schedule you have memorized is the university football schedule, down to the very hour of tip off. Priorities. Tis the season baby, and welcome back to school.

The ten struggles every college student faces upon returning to college as told by the Kardashians, because how relatable are they?

1. Realizing how much you actually need your mom after shrinking your favorite top in the wash, using laundry detergent instead of Cascade platinum and leaving the gas stove running all night.

2. Feeling like a freshman all over again as you Google Map your classroom building, only to continue walking circles around the building in an attempt to find the exact room number.

3. You begin to truly appreciate the value of a dollar again, as you've already blown through half of your summer earnings on food, clothing, and other miscellaneous things that you just had to have.

4. While on the topic of spending money, you can't help but convince yourself that with the little summer earnings you have left, you need to buy a new game day outfit for every game day of the season. It's not a want, it's a need.

5. Going back to your college diet, consisting of Cheerios, Uncrustables and easy mac. A grilled cheese is nearly considered a gourmet meal.

6. Remembering how truly terrible college parking is. If only teachers gave out As as frequently as the university parking services gave out tickets.

7. You couldn't be happier to be reunited with your college friends, yet as much as you hate to admit it, you miss your family. You miss your mom and her home cooked meals. You miss your dad and his humor. You miss your siblings constantly nagging you. But mostly just the home cooked meals.

8. You remember that you never return home from a night out looking the same as when you walked out the door. Your hair is so knotted that it's beginning to form dreadlocks. Your eye shadow is everywhere but your eyes. And your clothes are so sticky and sweaty that you can't decide if you should get them dry cleaned or give them to Goodwill.

9. You realize that college really is the time when you meet your future bridesmaids and your forever best friends. Your college friends become the family you miss back home. Your college friends are your shoulders to cry on, smiling faces to celebrate with, and they ultimately become you.

10. This brings you to the realization that you only have four years of this wonderful crazy ride, and before you know it you'll be set on your own into the real world. We don't ever want to grow up.

I love college.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
