So with the new year starting off, and not having much time to yourself during the week, the weekend is the perfect time for a little TLC (tender, love and care). The best way to someone's heart: their stomach (this isn't just limited to men, ladies). So why not relax, put your feet up and unwind at a good joint?
1. Bibibop Asian Grill

2. Deep India
Nestled between a Thai restaurant, called Thai Express, and a Chinese restaurant, named Tea 'n' Bowl, is a small joint called Deep India. Deep India specializes in many dishes, including more traditional meals (like Chicken Tikka Masala). But the dish I will always suggest to people new to the Saag Paneer. It's a cheesy and creamy meal and great for anybody who may be vegetarian!
3. Toppers
Also on Calhoun Street is Toppers Pizza: a fan favorite of current students and alumni combined. If you're having a bad day, then clogging your arteries with this greasy pizza is definitely the way to go. There are pizzas that are definitely out there but, with the topping selections they have, the choices are endless! Might I suggest the Buffalo Chicken pizza, the worst one they probably have (besides the Meat Topper, their twist on a meat lover's).
4. Keystone Bar and Grill
Known for their Mac N Cheese, Keystone is both a bar and a restaurant (the bar stays open later for those that are able to drink). There are other things that can be ordered at Keystone (like burgers, salads, etc.) but I highly suggest the mac n cheese. The meal I usually get is the B.B. King, which is mac n cheese with barbeque chicken and bacon.
5. Bagel Brothers
A smaller joint that serves, of course, bagels and other assorted sandwiches. Cool thing about the sandwiches is that you can get them on a bagel! The vibe in there is very relaxed and it feels very homely in there. There is a small area where you can sit and eat your lunch or you can easily take it to go. I usually get a club sandwich on a whole wheat bagel, it's super good!
So there are some of the restaurants that I eat at down here? Where are some of the places you like down here at UC?
