"Men should never have given women the right to vote" twitter user @hollyanswers claims.

Thursday morning, I saw this article discussing the Trump backers that have decided to suggest removal of women's voting rights, since Trump would win, based on this analysis. You read all that right--because male supporters of Trump aren't getting what they want, they would rather remove women's right to vote than continue to believe that their female counterparts have valid voices in a country they live in, supposedly, as equals. If you can find me a better demonstration of how flawlessly the seat of women as second-class citizens has been maintained, I'd be amazed. However, this is not just men propagating this hashtag, there are also female supporters claiming they'd be willing to give up their vote for Trump to win.

And this is after all the gregarious claims he has made against women, and then blatantly refused.

This is giving up a right women have not yet held for a full 100 years.

The likelihood of this repeal taking place before November is essentially none. "Essentially" even makes light of it--this isn't possible to be done before the election. That didn't stop twitter from responding in typical twitter fashion and smashing #repealthe19th like they've smashed other heinous hashtags.

So go vote. For the love of pretending women and men are treated equally, go vote.

I'm not here to tell you who to vote for. I'm not here to tell you who I'm going to vote for. In fact, I'm literally just here to tell you to vote. Women need to use this right, we need to follow through with our duty, because there are other citizens in our country who actively want to remove it from us. And how dare they.

Now, go watch "Iron Jawed Angels" and stomp to those polls.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
