One of my favorite quotes from any movie that I have seen. The quote from Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins shows us how we should approach and deal with things in our lives when they do not always go our way.

I went through a process this week. Everything that has happened throughout my life has either been a success or it could have been a failure. What I learned throughout this weeks process and everything throughout school is that you win some and you lose some. What defines you is not how much success you achieve but how you decide to respond to whens things don't go your way in life.

What I learned is that there are two ways you can respond is you can sit around and feel sorry about everything that happened to you or you can pick yourself up and move on from what happened. Its okay to sit down and be sad about what happened to be disappointed but you cannot let it consume your life and let that define how you act. What we need to understand is that you can not let it consume you.
