Stress is our body's way of responding to a demand. This can be a good or bad demand; either way, the body is in need of a reaction. Once this command becomes unable to reach, we start to panic and are getting irritating. The stress is affecting one that can be harmful or motivational. Either way, stress is apparent in lives of people everywhere and everyday. Most people experiencing stress, great or small amounts, we do not know how to handle it. 1. Electronics
Today, electronics are taking over our world and sabotaging our society. We do not realize how much stress they bring into our lives. For example, cracking our phones, keeping the battery alive and many other things. Taking the time to put down the phone for a day or not bringing it to school for day will open the mind and keep one focused on the important things like having a real conversation with friends or focusing more in classes.
2. Reading
Today, our generation does not realize the importance of reading. Picking up an intriguing book and being engrossed in it will occupy ones mind and put everything else to the side. Reading can also help improve ones writing by applying what they read to their writing. The vocabulary and sentence structure is what people today tend to struggle with. Distracting the mind from thinking about the things that are behind the stress will help quite a lot.
3. Working Out
The body has a huge roll when it comes to stress. If it becomes to serious people can starve themselves and not realize it, or just binge it on junk food which is not healthy either. Going to workout and releasing tension in the body is one of the best feelings. Not only do you feel accomplished, but you feel a lot better and clear minded afterwards. Putting the thoughts that are stressing the body and mind can be solved by working out and not dwelling on the issues today.
Most people are over the stress and do not know how to cope with it. These are three major strategies to get over this feeling. There are many more ways to get rid of this feeling, it just depends on the person. Each of the listed ones branch off into their own categories. Some other ideas are organizing, drawing, cleaning, and going on a hike!
