Moving to college comes with experiencing new things. There are new study techniques, new sleep habits, new mystery foods from the cafeteria, and new relationships you never knew existed. Here are 10 types of relationships you will run into in college.

1. The Study Buddy

This is the person you will always call on to cram for an exam or complain about the readings you have not done yet. You will work good together and always push each other to do your homework after wanting to give up.

2. The Best Friend

You will be inseparable. People will expect to see the other person when they see you. You will know everything about each other, from family life to pant size to favorite color jelly beans.

3. The “Squad”

This is the group of people you’re always seen with. You will all get along and feed off of each other equally. You will feel like you have known each other for years.

4. The Roommate

This person will become your sibling. You will have no problem telling them to clean their dishes or to stop talking on the phone at 2 a.m. You can depend on them for everything. They will know when you're upset without ever asking.

5. The Not-So-Friendly Friend

Meeting so many people makes it inevitable for at least one to turn out poorly. These are the people who will pretend to listen and pretend to love your company, and then bash on you the second you walk away.

6. The “Better Than Everyone Friend

There is always one friend that thinks they are better than you. It may not be their fault, maybe they just grew up being better than everyone else. They will belittle everything you do and always talk about themselves.

7. The Encourager

There are these incredible people you will meet that will encourage you in everything you do. They will cheer you on and support you no matter what you are trying to accomplish. They will make you feel like the most extraordinary person in the world.

8. The Platonic Friend

Everyone will always assume you are dating. People will ask how long you have been together and tell you that you make a cute couple, and eventually you will just go with it.

9. The Closed-Off Friend

When you run into the person who doesn't want to talk about themselves or doesn't seem to know how to have feelings, do not blow them off. There are people who like keeping to themselves, and that doesn't make them a bad person.

10. Your Person

This is the only person you truly need to survive. This is the person you call when you need to study, need to vent, need encouraging, or want to down a pint of ice cream at midnight. No matter what the circumstance, your person is your other half. They are always there and will do anything for you.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
