Hello, Christmas! It’s okay to be thinking of Christmas since it's November, we are all excited for the holiday season to come. Christmas time is the best time of the year. You get to spend time with family, eat a lot of candy canes, and get drunk on hot chocolate. If you are a Christmas freak like me, then get your tree and ugly sweater out and let the Christmas spirit get to you. Here are 10 reasons why you are so excited for Christmas. (Just by writing them out, I already get super excited!!)

1. Christmas Music

You can finally stop hiding the fact that you have been listing to "All I Want For Christmas " since June. I'm ready to have Justin Bieber "Mistletoe" on replay and have the whole house singing "Jingle, Jingle, Jingle Rock!"

2. Christmas Food

As the Holidays come around, so does Mr. Tom the Tummy and it's totally OKAY! Get ready to have candy cane for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as well as your everyday snack. I can totally taste and smell the Christmas Ham!

3. Family Time

Spending time with the family is the best part of the Holidays. You get to play fun games, watch movies, eat lots of food, and most of all they bring you presents!

4. Presents

Wrapping presents and picking them out are my favorite things in the entire world. Come on, you can never go wrong with a new pair of socks or a new shirt.

5. Christmas Movies

Get ready for the non-stop Christmas movie marathons. Hey, I know you're not mad about it! Harry Potter marathons and watching Elf nonstop is such a Christmas tradition.

6. Christmas Decorations

Nights turn into daylight with all the lights around the neighborhood! You can never go wrong with decorating the tree, that's the best part about Christmas.

7. Hot Chocolate

One Word: MARSHMALLOWS!!

8. Winter Weather

The cold weather, the snowy nights, and most importantly snow days!

9. Christmas Shopping

Someone, please lock me in my room because I'm going to spend a lot of cash at Target!

10. The Christmas Spirit

Christmas is the best part of the year and it's finally here! People can finally come together, enjoy a little vacation, and be happy that they have so many blessings!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
