24 Reasons You Should Live in Your Sorority House

1. You never have to cook for yourself.

In-house chef. Need I say more?

2. You never have to leave your house to go to chapter meeting.

There's nothing better than not having to walk out of your dorm to go to chapter meeting.

3. You can take as a long of a shower as you like.

And you don't even have to feel bad about it.

4. You get showered with baked goods from the fraternities at least a few times a month.

Worried about the Freshman 15 hitting you? No worries, you'll gain much more than that because the fraternity boys are secretly trying to get you fat.

5. You get to live with your best friends.

Could you ask for anything more?

6. You have an endless amount of study partners.

You'll have that 4.0 in no time!

7. You have someone who comes and cleans the house for you.

What could be better than that?

8. You don't have to pay to do your laundry.

#Blessed.

9. You get to have the real sorority experience.

Not the partying, drinking kind you see in movies, but you will really bond with your sisters.

10. You become closer to your sisters than ever before.

This is a time where you really get to know your sisters on a more personal level.

11. You'll always have people to go to parties with you.

You will never get left behind at a party.

12. You'll always have people who will make 2 a.m. food runs with you.

There will always be someone there to go to the taco bell drive-thru with you.

13. There are no quiet hours.

There will be no need to have to creep around your RA's door at 3 a.m.

14. You get to hear all of the chapter gossip firsthand.

Sorority gossip is the best kind of gossip to hear.

15. You get to have your pick at 20-plus closets besides your own.

For those times when you claim to have “nothing" to wear, you will have the choice to delve into other closets.

16. You'll always have that one sister, who will be there to talk you through every break-up and problem that you will have.

And she will kick anyone's ass if she needs to.

16. You'll have a house mom who will become your second mother.

And she will treat you like her daughter.

17. You'll have an endless amount of shopping and movie buddies.

You'll have people to spend all of our money with, that you really should be saving up.

18. You'll become so close with your sisters that there will be no boundaries.

Having one of your sisters barge into the bathroom because she needs to pee while you are getting ready will become a regular thing.

19. You'll always have someone to motivate you to go to the gym.

For those times where you feel like laying in bed and doing nothing, you'll have you sisters there to motivate you to get in shape.

20. You'll always find someone to walk to class with.

So you never have to walk anywhere alone.

21. You'll make a lifetime of memories.

The memories you make while “living in" are unforgettable.

22. You'll have an endless amount of personal stylists.

You will always have someone to dress you, do your makeup, and style your hair (free of charge).

23. You'll have people to have pillow fights in your underwear with.

Not really.

24. You'll have your sisters to craft with 24/7.

You no longer have to feel ashamed to have glitter all over your room, clothes, and body, 24/7.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
