As a child, my favorite meal was always lunch. There were so many options for lunch. Would I be getting a can of the amazing Chef Boyardee — preferably beefaroni — or would my mom end up making me a grilled cheese sandwich with a side of Campbell's tomato soup, or would I end up having a frozen pizza with added pepperoni? The possibilities were endless, and I loved them all. But there was one lunch I loved more than all the others: Oscar Mayer's Lunchables.

Lunchables were amazing as a kid, and even now in the present day state of adulthood. There're so many flawless things about Lunchables, I could go on for days. But to honor these bad boys and all their glory, I've conducted a list of five reasons why Lunchables are amazing.

1. They're cheap.

Even growing up with the state of inflation, Lunchables have remained affordable for even the poorest young adult. On average, a larger sized Lunchable with a juice pouch is about $2.50, and on sale they're $1.99. You get an entire lunch for about $3, how great is that? Sure the portions are small, but they're still a good snack. Which brings me to my next point...

2. Smaller Portions

As I got older, Lunchables no longer became just a meal for me, they're more of a snack now. Need a good snack during work? Lunchables are the way to go! Just got home from work and need a quick midnight snack? Lunchables! Lunchables are perfect for any time of day.

3. The Extra Snacks

With Lunchables, not only do you have a variety of many flavors (which I'll get into in the next point), to choose from but you also get extra snacks as well. Nerds, Reese's Cups, cookies — you name it. It's a nice little bonus to an already satisfying snack. My personal favorite are the strawberry nerds.

4. The Many Choices

Lunchables are great for many reasons. One reason in particular being the many kinds there are. Are you feeling a lunchmeat sandwich? Well, Lunchables has ham, turkey and even bologna selections. Are you feeling pizza? Well, guess what? They have an extra-cheesy and pepperoni pizza to satisfy your hunger. Do you want chicken nuggets? Well, you guessed it! There's a chicken dunk Lunchable for you, as well. Lunchables always has your back, always.

5. The Nacho Lunchable

The ultimate Lunchable. The Lunchable that beats all other Lunchables... the nacho cheese and salsa Lunchable. As a kid, this was always my go to Lunchable. Not only did it actually fill me up, but it always tasted the best. Ask anyone around you, the nacho cheese and salsa Lunchable will always be the best one. Always.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
