6 Reasons 'Real Housewives' Is My Favorite Guilty Pleasure Show

"Real Housewives" is HANDS-DOWN my favorite reality tv show. I used to watch "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" when I was in high school, but I lost interest (as I do with most television shows, to be honest). However, I love all the drama that is a part of "Real Housewives." I know there are many different locations to this show, and I'm sure I'll get through all of them at some point. I'm currently watching the "Real Housewives of Orange County" while drinking some Moscato... Cheers!

1. "Real Housewives" has ALL the drama you could ever need

Giphy

Seriously, ALL the drama. I've watched from season 1 and the series starts out pretty tame. Sh*t starts getting WILD pretty fast. For example, when Tamra throws that drink in Jeana's face and then serves her with the cease and desist letter. Wine is a difficult thing to get out of a dress...But, Tamra's point is also valid. How can we even choose sides on this show?!

2. If you watch from the start, you're likely to catch some cringe-worthy outfits

Giphy

With any era comes many outfit choices that will be mocked by the future generations. Looking back on outfits from the 2000s is a sure-fire way to make me cringe, but the "Real Housewives" are truly worth the watch, regardless of the fashion mishaps.

3. The cheesy transitions

Giphy

I love how every season has a different intro for every character with a new little phrase. Usually, they're comical phrases that really help describe the housewife and her behaviors for the rest of the season.

4. Did I mention fights yet?

Giphy

On the OC, Tamra is one of the most outspoken housewives and she refuses to keep silent about any issue she feels strongly about. Homegirl will fight ANYONE with whom she doesn't agree. She is never afraid to state her opinion or cause issues. There are literally too many fights to count on this show and I LIVE for it. Argue away, housewives, and I'll drink my Moscato and pick a side.

5. They have ZERO shame about encouraging each other to drink heavily

Giphy

Drinking seems like a sport on some of the "Real Housewives" shows and I LIVE for it. Like YAS queens, get wine drunk on a Wednesday night and take a limousine home. You are living it up.

6. For the most part, they try to support their friends

Giphy

When this doesn't work out, that's ~usually~ when a fight breaks out.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
