Friendship is made up of laughter, parties, unforgettable moments and also obstacles. But you know what? The obstacles are what makes good friends, and distance between good friends is just an obstacle.

When I needed to choose if I was going to study abroad I was worried about losing the people I love back home. But when you are away from home for so long, this is when you see the things really for the first time, this is where you truly grow up and figure out your life. It is then when you realize who your good friends are and you will never let them go.

At around Christmas break you'll come home, back to the normal place you're used to and the people you love. Things have changed, between you and your hometown during the time, but your friends will always be the same. Your friendship with them will never change because real friends are there for you always, no matter what.

Don't think you will lose your friends by taking a risk, because they are the ones who will be there to watch you take that leap of faith and always support you. Just remember, things will change over the years, but not your friends. They will be next to you like it's the first day.
