11 Of The Best Songs From 'High School Musical 2'

One thing finals are good for is getting you distracted and making you think of better times. I started to think of a time where "High School Musical 2" and how in my humble (and right) opinion it is the best movie in the franchise. So I decided to rank the songs from best to okay (since none of them are really bad). One day I'll do a massive list of al the songs in the series but I can't say I cared for the third one.

1. Bet on It.

Iconic. Iconic. Iconic. And did I mention Iconic? Honestly, hands down the best song in the franchise (and just in general lbr). We get a sassy Zac Efron jumping around a golf course being dramatic and determined, hands flying everywhere. Just Gold. #Blessed

2. Everyday.

I have a soft spot for this song, it's cute and sweet and where's my Troy? or Gabriella? Although their giggles at the end is dumb.

3. Gotta Go My Own Way

I'm trash for this breakup song, it's so quotable and it makes me want to be in amidst of a break-up singing this.

4. I Don't Dance.

Probably one of the best songs vocally and what a great song about playing baseball and dancing or not dancing (but Chad claims he doesn't dance although that's all he was doing while singing the song)

5. All for One.

I always love the ensembles songs, they're all good together. And this is just like another version of "We're All In This Together" with its words of togetherness and friendship, make sense why the ended the movie with this song. It's a good finisher (Also, peep that Hannah Montana-era Miley cameo).

6. You Are The Music In Me (Sharpay & Troy)

This is just so much more enjoyable to listen to and sing along to. Sharpay just makes songs a lot more fun and I can get behind that.

7. Fabulous

Sharpay is just great fun and a bit of a diva and this song is just that.

8. Work this Out.

Seriously a great teamwork song, I feel the morale in this one.

9. What Time Is It?

Definitely a jam that gets me every time school is done and now that I've finished finals, I feel this song so hard. A great classic for all of us heading to summer from academia.

10. You Are The Music In Me (Gabrielle & Troy version).

They're cute and all but Sharpay and Troy did it miles better.

11.Humuhumunukuapua'a.

I realized I didn't really remember this song and it was really annoying to type out (lets hope I spelled it right). But with any song with Sharpay and Ryan, it's upbeat and a sing along.

Just wanted to bring back the gift that is HSM2 and the music it graced us with so. Hopefully, this list was enjoyable though everyone won't agree with my ranking. I'm curious about everyone else, How would you rank these 11 songs from best to not the best.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
