Dear weary student,
This week has been hard. You've had the highest highs and the lowest lows.
But I don't doubt you.
I pray you will have the bad days.
Not that they aren't bad enough but that they make you realize there are good ones.
You look tired.
Stop holding so tightly to these stresses. They make you tense. They make you fearful.
They make you see yourself as broken.
Your cracks, your shame, isn't you.
Look at all the time that's passed. You're brave.
You have a few rough edges. Those edges make you stand tall among the crowd. You're capable.
Stand up. Dust off your bruised knees. It's time to believe in who you are.
The great and wise Victoria Cochrum once said this:
"Don't ever let somebody tell you you can't do something, not even me. Alright? Your dream, you gotta protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. If you want something, go get it. Period."
Dreams seem vast. Keep them vast.
Stretch a bit wider.
It will get better.
This is one thing I can guarantee – there will be a another day, another week, another month, another year.
Upward and onward, dear learners!
