As a busy college student, we barely make time for breakfast. Usually, we would much rather sleep in for the extra 30 minutes then get up and prepare a meal. I have created a quick and easy way to have a smoothie to drink on the go every morning, and it is healthy!
1. Freeze all of your fruit and even yogurt.
Chose your favorite fruit you want in your smoothie and keep it in your freezer. This makes it so that you will not have to add ice to your smoothie, since your fruit will already be frozen. You also have the option of freezing your yogurt as well, depending on how thick you want your smoothie to be.
2. Purchase a personal blender.
You don't have to spend a lot of money on one. Stores like Target and Walmart will have their own models. I got mine from Target. My blender is for one serving, and each cup you blend your ingredients in can be used as the cup to carry it out in as well. This saves time and you won't have to transfer it to another cup.
3. Choose a juice.
Add in all your frozen ingredients, plus your juice and blend! It usually only takes 3-5 mins to fully blend.
Having your ingredients ready to go the night before also saves time. All together it usually only takes up to 10 minutes at most and then you'll be on your way!
