As a 20-something in today’s time I am continually amazed by the strength of the human race. As a woman myself, I am especially amazed by the women of today’s time because as Beyonce would say, “Who runs the world, girls.”
There is power, intelligence and unity all accomplished with a sense of grace that some may call a woman’s touch. Instead of competing with one another we have shifted our intention to empowering the passions and ideas of one another. We tell one another that the other is beautiful versus allowing jealousy to take hold because we know we have our own beauty that shines through. There is a support chain linked from one lady to the next that continues to grow. Let me just say, there is something special about a woman that can bring home the bacon, throw the dinner party and binge-watch Netflix Narcos series.
So Yes, there is what some may call a “nickname” that I have for these extra special women out there that continue to motivate our oh so fine male population. Beyonce calls them queens, which I absolutely love. A queen embodies everything lady-like: grace, kindness and success. These ladies always seem to stand out among them all. Their beauty shining from the inside out to intrigue all those that surround them. To me, my personal squad of these ladies are my down ass bitches. Those ladies that you can call on when you're sitting with a bottle of the cheap moscato thats price doesn't amount to how good the liquid tastes. The ladies that are not drinking this golden liquid out of sorrow but because who doesn't love to drink a bottle of moscato?
No makeup on, with our hair tied in a somewhat form of a man bun, but you're no fu*** boy. nah, you're just a down ass bitch. One of those queens we can call on that comes with no judgement but grabs a glass of moscato for herself. This are the ladies that men long for to chill, lay low with or go out for a night full shenanigans that are taken to a whole new level.
They walk the streets to be followed by all eyes and longing footsteps because who doesn’t want to be a part of the all time down-to-earth girl squad. These girls are bad to the point that it is oh so good. From their unique sense of style that amounts to no one but their own personal taste. To there sense of independence because it is clear they have got it all taken care of. These are the kind of ladies that will take you out for a night out on the town, coffee in the morning on them, let them grab the gas. These girls are down to drive around at until 4 am talking about the mafia, legalizing weed, and iguanas.
This is not because they believe in it or do it, but because they are interested in any form of life or forms of living that we may find on this earth. The queens of today’s time don't bound their mind to one topic but instead see the limitless knowledge at their fingertips. Their knowledge, love for life and keen eye to what is being unsaid is the chase of a lifetime.
However, they aren't into games. they are real with you from the get go. Keep these down ass bitches by your side ladies as one of your own. For our men out there, hold on to these ladies as your main chick because there's no room for a side chick with them by your side.
