In my 40 years of helping other people excel one consistent aspect of my teachings has remained and that is encouraging people to put themselves out there for you never know where things will go when you engage others. In today's world that is dominated by social media we have lost the importance and the effectiveness of connecting on a cellular level. Over the years I have learned that the best way to connect with people is eyeball to eyeball and flesh to flesh making sure our vibrations are in alignment with each other. So many times people will come from a lack mentality and say I can't not realizing that they can. It takes some courage to put yourself out there and allow yourself to be vulnerable because there will be doubters, naysayers, and haters. There will be many that question you or judge you. This goes with being part of the 3% that actually think outside the box and take action. In all that we do we must understand if we do not share who we are, what we do, and why people should be doing business with us we will struggle. The struggle does not have to exist if you go from lack thinking to abundance thinking and put your self out there.

Sometimes all it takes is simply finding opportunities and taking action. Using the concept of what is the worst they can tell me is no I reached out to The Lingerie Football League now known as the Legends Football League to be the Public Address Announcer for The Miami Caliente. I had heard about the team on WQAM and I decide to send them an email. I received an email back and I called the number in the email and did a phone audition. I was hired and as a result did 2 seasons with The Caliente, announced The LFL Playoffs and Lingerie Bowl. I share this with you in hopes that you change from a lack mentality to an abundance mentality.

I put myself out there to raise funds for The American Cancer Society Relay For Life to help fund research, education, advocacy, and services. 2017 marks my 18th year of participating in Relay For Life. The other day I was out fundraising and I stopped by a nail salon to collect donations. The owner said I could ask the patrons for donations so I did. One patron made a $40 donation. I also have used Facebook as a way to ask people to visit http://main.acsevents.org/goto/jdogg18 and make a donation. In doing this the other day I secured a $200 donation. I am currently at $1626 raised for The American Cancer Society of Sunrise.
In putting your self out there make sure you have solid professional marketing material. The above is a set up I did at a local Starbucks to help promote Relay For Life. It brought a few people to the table and I secured a few donations. When putting yourself out there have a clear purpose and a consistent way to deliver your message.
