45 days into 2018, and the year's 30th mass shooting has occurred,

but nothing has been done.

45 days, and over 400 children in 2018 alone have been killed or injured by gun violence,

but nothing has been done.

Thought's and prayers only goes so far,

but nothing has been done.

It's finally time to stop playing the fence when it comes to gun control in this country.

Why is this the only country that this happens in? Why must we be the ones to continually allow these tragedies to occur.

My heart goes out to those affected by the Sandy Hook shooting.

My heart goes out to those affected by the Las Vegas Massacre.

My heart goes out to those affected by the Parkland shooting.

We need gun control. We need people in office that aren't hesitant to pass legislation that will keep us safe.
