Finals week is the most dreaded time for all college students. It's filled with stress, a lack of sleep, too much coffee and an abundance of things you swear you never learned. Once you return from Thanksgiving break, it's time to start preparing. No one understands the struggles of preparing for finals better than Michael Scott.
1. Deciding to write your final paper before finals week starts to leave time to study for actual finals, but winding up feeling like you have time for neither. That 12 page minimum also isn't helping matters much.
2. Trying to inspire yourself to keep going when you haven't showered or slept in three days when you really feel like sleeping until Christmas. Coffee only helps so much.
3. Stress eating basically becomes a way of life as mealtime and study time blend. Eating what you want when you want also becomes a habit justified by "I deserve this."
4. You feel completely betrayed by that one professor who is testing you on stuff not covered in class but in the textbook. Especially when optional reading and homework turned out to be not-so-optional.
5. When you realize you haven't seen the light of day in a week because the library is open for 24 hours and your friends only see you when you leave your cubicle for more coffee.
6. Realizing you don't know as much as you thought you did when you start reviewing. Similar to when your group for the final project expects you to know what the professor wants you to do.
7. Completely winging the presentation you have to make the last week of classes because you and your group have come to the realization you all didn't pay enough attention in class.
8. Trying to explain to your friends why you've procrastinated until this point in the semester every time they ask why you seem to have so much work. It also happens every time you complain about being too stressed. They're wondering it, you're wondering it too.
9.The point you reach when you're questioning whether or not you should just wing it. You're exhausted and watching Netflix sounds more appealing than staying in the library to review for your philosophy final.
10. Deciding finally that it is one week and you can make it through this (probably) like you have every other semester. Plus, when you're done you can officially start celebrating Christmas!!
