It is Saturday afternoon and you are walking over to the tailgate. It is the appetizer before the main dish: The football game. But a lot of people enjoy the tailgate more than the game itself. You get to hangout with all your friends and play the tailgate games, but what is the best tailgate game out there? Finally we get a list to soothe all your worries.

1. Cornhole

Cornhole is most popular during grad-party season. But it really makes its mark during tailgate time. I have never been to a tailgate that doesn't have cornhole. It goes together better than root beer and vanilla ice cream.

2. Beer Pong

Mostly seen at college tailgates around the nation, beer pong is a favorite among any college student looking to have some fun, and maybe get a little tipsy before they cheer on their local college, as they beat the visiting team.

3. Pickup Football

You are about to go watch grown men tackle each other, why not pretend to be the superstars on your favorite team? Why not try to recreate OBJ's famous catch on the pavement?

4. Flip cup

Forget the pong balls? How 'bout just filing the cups up a little, drink them, and then flip them on the side? Flip cup is another crowd favorite on college campuses around the nation.
