Nine years after the release of "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows," the seventh and final novel in JK Rowling's "Harry Potter" series, a new story was released. "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is a script published in book form. The story was written by Jack Thorne, John Tiffany and, of course, JK Rowling. It begins right after the seventh novel ends and it gives readers a look into the lives of the beloved characters after they saved the world and eventually had children.

My non-spoiler opinion on the story is that it was amazing. Every twist and reveal made me want to scream, but in a good way. There were multiple times when I would read a line and suddenly my eyes would get big, my jaw would drop and I would just stare off into the distance trying to comprehend what the event would mean for the Harry Potter universe. Of course, I didn't necessarily agree with everything, such as the omission of some characters that should have made appearances. Overall, though, it was interesting to see Harry's interaction with his family, specifically his son Albus, based on what he has learned over the years of fighting his own battles.

I wanted to keep this review spoiler-free, but I really can't because it was just too big of a story and I was too excited to read it. So here comes the spoilers. If you haven't read the book yet: DO NOT CONTINUE READING THIS ARTICLE.

The story itself was fantastically original. In the midst of the adventure was Harry's middle child, Albus, who gets sorted into... Slytherin?!?! One night he overhears a conversation between his father and Amos Diggory about the possibility of a manmade Time Turner and going back to save Cedric from being killed because of Lord Voldemort during the Triwizard Tournament. You know, the magical device that Hermione used in "Prisoner of Azkaban" and all of them were destroyed in the "Order of the Phoenix." Well young Albus and his friends Delphi Diggory and Scorpius Malfoy get their hands on said time traveling device and then they basically screw up time. Great. Everything works out in the end though. I think.

There were many surprises in this story. One of the biggest was Hermione being the Minister of Magic. It was probably discussed on Pottermore, but since I haven't been on the website since the second book was added, I didn't know. (On a side note, I do plan to complete the game. I just haven't had the time or motivation lately).

Another big surprise was the inclusion of Amos Diggory and honestly everything that happened surrounding that. A Time Turner exists still? Cedric could possibly be saved?! OK, so I don't think they could have completely saved Cedric without messing up time. But I guess the thought still counts.

I guess the only other MAJOR surprise that I can think of was Scorpius Malfoy. He was nice. And Albus' best friend. Sure he talks a lot, but I really liked his character. Its nothing I would ever have imagined.

So earlier I mentioned that I wish certain characters had been included in the story. First was Neville. He was a big part of the original novels and should have been included in saving the day. At least he was mentioned, though, unlike Teddy Lupin (who I am just now learning is actually named Edward Remus "Teddy" Lupin). I know he was done at Hogwarts by the time the story begins. But he was Harry's godson and should have at least been referenced.

So there you go. My spoiler filled review of "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" in which I could have talked about much more including the cast of the play and the potential for a future film. Overall, I suggest the book to everyone who likes Harry Potter because it was one of the most amazing stories ever outside of the original seven novels.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
