Post Election Happiness

Whether or not you agree with the election results, you're definitely tired of hearing about it altogether. No matter who you voted for, here are some happy things to boost your post-election emotions.

1. Puppies

They're small, they're warm, and who doesn't love their tiny little faces?

2. Ice cream

Ice cream is delicious and comes in a zillion flavors, there is bound to be one that cheers you up.

3. Listening to music in the car

Go for a drive and listen to some music. Just don't rage drive and end up speeding.

4. Watching Netflix

Watching Netflix is an easy way to keep your mind off things for a while.

5. Crafting

Crafting with friends is fun and you can even get started on Christmas presents!

6. Baking cookies

Homemade cookies are great, and making them is a nice break from the usual easy mac in the microwave.

7. Dancing

Dancing in the living room to Hannah Montana at 1 am is a great stress reliever.

8. Shopping

Everybody could use a new pair of shoes and a quality day at the mall.

9. Taking a nap

Napping is always a good idea.

10. Watching Dance Moms

Abby Lee Miller is stressful enough to keep your mind off of anything else going on.

11. Petting animals

Who wouldn't want to hang out with a cow for a while?

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
