What a crazy year 2016 has been. From the Presidential Election to Beyonce slaying at the half time show of the Super Bowl, there have been so many highlights of 2016. There are so many things that come with the New Year, but before we get there we must remember all the fun memories in pop culture that has come to our attention this past year. What helped us get through the best of times and the worst of times is truly important to remember. So here are the highlights in pop culture of 2016:


1. Leonardo Dicaprio's first Oscar.

2. Pokemon Go.

3. The Brangelina split.

4. Joe Biden and Barack Obama memes.

5. Britney Spear’s return to the VMA’s.

6. Gilmore Girls “The Return”.

7. Kim Kardashian West’s Paris robbery.

8. #Nastywomen.

9. Donald Trump becoming President-Elect.

10. Beyonce. Just Beyonce. Especially at the Super Bowl.

11. Damn Daniel.

12. RIP Harambe.

13. The Final Five at the Olympics.

14. The Mannequin Challenge.

15. One Dance by Drake ft Wizkid & Kyla being number 1 on the top charts for 2016.


Cannot wait to see what is in store for the New Year because if 2016 was not crazy enough, 2017 certainly will be.
