When it comes to politics, everyone has a different opinion. Some are vocal about it, and some like to keep their thoughts private. I've seen opinions from both sides of the spectrum, and I'm here to tell you that you won't hear mine in this article. Presidency is something every kindergartener wishes to obtain. That is, until they realize how much work and responsibility it takes. Barack Obama lived up to be what he probably wrote down as his future career in kindergarten, and wow, did he live up to it.
Obama is a family man

He seems to always be keeping up with the latest trends in social media. This is something that sets him aside from past presidents, and that makes him admirable and even adorable. He even becomes a meme himself, sometimes.
Mr. and Mrs. Obama
Their love story could be made into a movie. (No, really, why hasn't it yet?) They've been together through it all, and still love each other at the end of each and every day. Relationship goals.
Obama is a phenomenal speaker
Call me biased since he just gave the commencement speech at Rutgers' graduation ceremony, but he knows how to speak in front of a crowd of any size. He was used as an example many times in my Communication classes for knowing how to keep the audience's attention. He makes it look so effortless just by how relaxed he is, and he knows when to crack a few jokes.
Obama still gets out to watch sports
Being that Obama is an avid basketball fan, he still gets out of the house when he can to support his favorite teams.
Obama isn't to be messed with
If there's one person you'll probably always lose a debate to, it's him. He probably knows you better than you know yourself. Don't plan on "popping off" anytime soon around him.
Barack Obama is a family man, sports fan, motivational speaker, trend setter and President of our home. So before you're quick to judge him on being a democrat, remember that he's human: he's more than what you label him as. He had a life before presidency, and he'll have one after. Don't let the media fool you. He's a personable guy who doesn't let negative opinions get to him. This is just a chapter in his and our lives, and I'm so grateful to be able to appreciate him during it. #ThanksObama for an appreciable eight years.
