I know what you're thinking. Another Pokemon Go post? But, if you can listen to popular radio where they play the same four songs every hour, you can survive one more Pokemon post.

Initially, I was not going to get the game. Whatever is really popular, no matter how cool, is usually something I try to stay away from (not always successfully) until it dies down a bit. However, this game is actually really cool. The creators have put a ton of work into the game, before launching, and continuously. Many of the Pokestops are churches, hospitals, statues, and fountains. Not only is there a picture of each structure, but the name is listed.

Everyone has realized the game encourages activity and movement outdoors, but how about the local geography and history lessons? Also, different types of Pokemon come out in different types of areas and in different types of weather - even the moon phase makes a difference! How much research did all this take? These awesome extra features are what drove me to the game, and I am excited to see what else the creators have in store for us. All that said, here are 17 of my favorite Pokemon Go finds and memes so far!
