The new mobile device gaming sensation, Pokemon Go has swept the country ON the streets. You cannot go anywhere without seeing someone on their phone playing it. This game promotes adventure by allowing individuals to use the app's navigational system to catch Pokemon in designated areas. The app is so popular that even the YELP app has a Pokestop location indicator. Even though it is a fun game and motivates a person to go outside, have fun, and exercise, here are some tips you need to keep in mind.

1. Bring your charger or bring an extra battery pack.

-The game uses GPS in order to find Pokemon and capture them. With that being said, it can drain your battery percentage in a matter of minutes, so it is important to have a charger of some sorts on deck.

2. If under the age, make sure your parents allow you to use the app.

-Pokemon Go uses a lot of Data on one's mobile device. Depending on what your plan is, it can increase your monthly bill if not used within reason. If you can, find places that have free wifi and a pokestop all in one.

3. Make sure you are wearing comfortable shoes!

-Especially during the summer time, the weather is hotter and the game requires a good bit of walking and (maybe) running. It is important to wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in for an extended period of time.

4. Make sure to NOT Pokemon Go and Drive.

-Don't text and drive either, it can wait. Be safe at ALL times.

5. To go with #4, ALWAYS remember to look up.

-Safely look both ways when crossing the street and watch where you're going. These are simple rules to remember so that you don't get yourself in an accident of some sorts.

6. Look up the hot spots BEFORE you go to them.

-For those that drive, this is a good way to not waste gas. Join the Pokemon Go pages in your area on Facebook to see where all the prime locations are. (Most likely at beaches, cities, parks, and places with a lot of monuments).

7. It is almost always fun to play with a group or another person.

-This is a good way to make friends or get outside of your house and have some fun. Great and many minds think alike!

8. Do NOT get into arguments with people for what team they're on.

-It's all fun and games.

9. Stay hydrated!

-For the most part, you are outside and moving around, it would make sense.

10. Remember to have fun!

-The competitiveness can get to our head sometimes.

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
