Remember when every kid who was introduced into the world of pocket monsters---better known as Pokemon---wanted nothing more in life than to embark on the own journey of becoming the Pokemon master? Adults would scoff and shake their heads, proclaiming that it would never happen, just play your silly GameBoy and card games. Well, look at us now. Our dream, though it took twenty years, is now a reality. We, those silly little kids who wanted to live in a fantasy world can now embark on their very own Pokemon adventure. Pokemon still aren't real life creatures...but it's the next best thing: I'm talking about Pokemon Go!

For those not following the big fuss, Pokemon Go! is an app that can be downloaded for free via the app store on your mobile device or tablet. This app allows the user to create his or her own virtual character complete with a nickname and the customization of hair color, eye color, and clothing/accessory colors. It is time to begin your quest to complete your destiny of becoming the Pokemon master. It's a difficult journey, but someone has to do it.

Teams. It's all about teams here and there's three to choose from so be wary and read up young one, you've been waiting your whole life for this...don't screw it up by choosing the wrong one. The choices are: Team Valor (red), Team Mystik (blue), and Team Instinct (yellow).. Valor is Moltres, Blue is Articuno, and Yellow is Zapdos.

But that doesn't come until you're ready for a gym, so you have time to decide which poison you'll choose.

Now's the fun part, packing up that backpack, turning your hat backwards, grabbing that fully charged phone and starting that journey you've been waiting on. The best part about Pokemon Go? Not only do you get to catch your favorite Pokemon, but you also get exercise from all the walking or running you'll be doing in order to manage to come in contact with these creatures. Shhhhh don't tell anyone, the exercise is the secret.

Soon you'll be hooked, if you aren't hooked already by just reading about it. It's addicting and will consume your time, so be careful. Also, don't go wandering off in strange places that may make you uncomfortable because following the track of a Pokemon may lead you somewhere you might not want to be, so be warned and don't get lost. You never know what you'll find...one girl found a body while chasing after a Squirtle...Pokemon Go, helping find crimes (unexpectedly...) like the pros, one Pokemon at a time. And also, as tempting as it seems, please oh please don't catch Pokemon while driving. Please pull over and do so, we can't have any future Pokemon masters getting hurt. ^.^

Also, be sure to have good aim because that's a must in this journey. And if you don't have good aim, well, be sure to know where some Pokestops are so you can refuel up on Pokeballs. Some Pokemon are more stubborn that others...*darn you Raticate* But above all, be sure to have fun because that's what this is all about. So Pokemon still haven't come to life, but this is definitely the next best thing and we can finally strive to be the very best that no one ever was and become the legendary Pokemon master of your community. So get out there and catch 'em all, after all it's your destiny.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

These powerful lyrics remind us how much good is inside each of us and that sometimes we are too blinded by our imperfections to see the other side of the coin, to see all of that good.

Every Girl Needs To Listen To 'She Used To Be Mine' By Sara Bareilles

The song was sent to me late in the middle of the night. I was still awake enough to plug in my headphones and listen to it immediately. I always did this when my best friend sent me songs, never wasting a moment. She had sent a message with this one too, telling me it reminded her so much of both of us and what we have each been through in the past couple of months.

Zodiac wheel with signs and symbols surrounding a central sun against a starry sky.

What's your sign? It's one of the first questions some of us are asked when approached by someone in a bar, at a party or even when having lunch with some of our friends. Astrology, for centuries, has been one of the largest phenomenons out there. There's a reason why many magazines and newspapers have a horoscope page, and there's also a reason why almost every bookstore or library has a section dedicated completely to astrology. Many of us could just be curious about why some of us act differently than others and whom we will get along with best, and others may just want to see if their sign does, in fact, match their personality.

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
