Poetry On Odyssey: I Wait

I wait for you.

I wait for you as I ask questions I don't want answers to.

I wait for you as time passes by and hours turn into days.

I wait for you when everyone is telling me to walk away.

I wait for you.

I sit still.

I go through the motions.

I try to stop waiting... but

I wait for you.

I talk and talk and beat around the questions I'm being asked.

I say you're coming.

I say "he's on the way".

But I keep waiting.

I want you to be worth it.

I tell everyone you are.

But I wonder... Are You Worth Waiting For...
