This is hard. Probably one of the most difficult things to do, but you need to do it. Not just for you, because I know that probably won't push you as much as this: do it for the people you love. You know.. The people that love you. I know it's easier to see all your flaws and hate yourself for them, to not see how they make you better, to not see all the wonderful parts of you, but know that it is possible. So, I'm asking you to do one thing for me, no matter how insecure you may be, no matter how down on yourself you may be, no matter how much you may sometimes hate yourself.

Here's my request: please love yourself.

Love the way you smile, love the way you laugh. Love the way you blush and cry. Love the way you sometimes wake up with bed head. Love the way you get embarrassed and angry and sad. Love the way you get happy. Love the way you're stubborn and tenacious and determined and the way you see life.

Love yourself.

Love the way you get excited over the things you are passionate about. Love the way you're learning something new every day. Love the way you get frustrated. Love the way you muck through life, the way you survive.

Please love yourself.

Love that you're not always right and that you're trying to get better every day. Love the way that you lean on others and allow yourself to show weakness, that you allow yourself to ask for help.

Love yourself.

Love that you face obstacles and that you tackle them. Love that you can't always seem to get things perfect. Love that despite all those things you have people who love you and see the best in you.

Please love yourself.

Love that you're not always sure. Love yourself because you are changing every day, because you have the power to grow as a person, because you have the power to make people love themselves when they can't see what makes them wonderful. Love yourself because you can change lives, especially your own.

Please love yourself.

Love yourself because it will make you a happier and more confident person. Love yourself because you are doing the best you can. Love yourself because you deserve it.
