Neil Breen is an independent film maker that has been making films since 2005. He hasn’t really made anything that anyone has heard of because all of his movies have little to no budget whatsoever and are only released in a few theaters across the country. But thankfully, he’s starting to get a cult following, because this man is the next big thing in "so bad that it’s good" filmmaking. Like, I'm saying that he tries so hard for his films to be so good, but to quote Adam from the YouTube channel, “Yourmoviesuckdotorg.” He looks like he was pulled right out of a Tim and Eric skit. Right now, I’ve seen all of his movies and let me tell you, they are as funny as you think they might be… Like, all of his movies try so hard to be good and important, but they’re all absolute nonsense.
So here are the reasons Neil Breen is god.
1. He has the weirdest rules for when screening his films.
Here are his rules… You can’t call the movie so bad it’s good, you can’t call it a midnight movie, no trailers are allowed to be shown before the movie, no one can get a discount for the movie, you can’t mention Tommy Wiseau for any reason, the list goes on and on… Quite a lot of rules just to watch a freaking movie.
2. His movies make for a great drinking game.
Once you watch his movies, you’ll see what I mean… Or just watch “Yourmoviesucksdotorg”’s review of "Fateful Findings." He made up the drinking game.
3. He literally cast himself as god in one of his movies.
In the film “I Am Here…Now,” Neil Breen cast himself as god going back down to earth to check up on man kind only to be pissed off about his own creation…
Only the best of people can cast themselves as god.
4. Apparently he’s so kind and generous he literally credits something that nobody did.
5. This scene:
6. Whenever he needs to get the emotions out, all he needs to do is wipe blood on his face and repeat what we already know.
7. His film “Double Down” is also the name of a KFC sandwich.
8. He really hates laptops.
9. And lastly, he’s here to stay.
Please go on Youtube and watch his movies. They were actually shown in theaters…in premieres…and someone gave this man a camera, a dream and money. This man is every reason why god exists.
