I already wrote 3,000 words listing 50 reasons not to vote for that cinnamon Hitler, but it seems like the reasons are endless. Here's ten more because I'm tired of discussing it, and I would really like to no longer have his name on my search history.
1. Recently, Trump has been trying to walk back on every notorious comment he's made. On an episode of Late Night with Seth Meyers, Meyers discusses how it seems like Trump has become aware that "he doesn't want to be president."
2. His famous book, The Art of the Deal, was not written by him. He had a ghostwriter, Tony Schwartz.
3. Tony Schwartz has said in an article on The New Yorker that he fully regrets ever writingThe Art of the Deal. Schwartz stated that if Trump were to win the presidency, there is an "excellent possibility it will lead to the end of civilization."
4. His speeches have had the lowest reading level out of any presidential candidate in US history. For someone who boasts constantly about being smart, one would think he could have the ability to speak like he is.
5. The demographic he appeals to does not represent the American people. His supporters are mostly made up of white people, rich people, and anyone who is terrified of losing their privilege. He has not lived the "American dream" -- everything that defines his success has been handed to him on a silver platter.
6. His supporters perpetuate misogyny, racism and everything against which Americans are trying to fight. On an episode of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, political correspondent Jordan Klepper talked with Trump supporters to expose their hateful beliefs. One woman was quoted as saying that the presidency is "a man's job."
7. Trump constantly makes misogynistic comments about women. The United States simply cannot function with a Commander-In-Chief who does not understand how to act like a decent human being. In one of the earlier debates between him and Hillary Clinton
8. For #ThrowbackThursday, let's discuss the fact that Trump thinks a million dollars is a "small loan." He has been so corrupted by wealth and white privilege that he has lost touch with the everyday American. He cannot be expected to make rational policy decisions concerning welfare, taxes, or essentially anything that affects the economy.
9. All of his military strategies involve using nuclear bombs to destroy other countries. History has proven that imperialistic policies as harsh as Trump's have only incited more violence and war in the world. Not only would the United States crumble to the ground, the rest of the world would follow suit.
10. Lastly, Donald Trump would not be a president.
He would be a cruel, insatiable dictator that would gradually turn America into a divided nation resembling the horror and panic characteristic of Nazi Germany.
