Oh, pigs… some love ‘em while the other ones of us eat them. There is, of course, that weird in between where you share a video of baby pigs running around for all your Facebook friends to see but then only hours later post a picture of you chowing down on a bacon burger. Yeah. Pigs are on one those weird creatures that have so many expression they can describe any satiation including college. Pigs are the best pet for college-aged young adults because they go through all the same feelings we do.
They don’t want to get up:
We all have those early morning classes where we would rather be picking up trash on a highway than waking up and going too. Especially for those 8am sciences, forget about it. Pigs feel the same way, they don’t want to get up either and endure the busy day they have ahead of them.
Pigs don’t know what they are talking about either:
Ever have a conversation with a professor or classmate and have absolutely no idea what they just said or were even trying to say? Yeah, pigs don’t know either. Just like you, pigs try as hard as they can to understand but at the end of the day they just can’t. Probably because they don’t know English and you just weren’t paying attention but hey who is really keeping track.
The "I just want to go out but I have homework due tomorrow" ( or even worse, at midnight):
You may not believe but pigs just want to have a good time too. They know the struggle of their friends calling them up to go out when it's only a Tuesday. Pigs also have to make the rough decision of doing the right or wrong thing. These type of decisions just make our heads go in circles trying to decide what to do.
Bathing:
You know you have to do it but something about just getting in bed is so tempting. Well, I can shower in the morning but you know that's never going to happen. Do you want to shower tonight or go to bed early? Do they want to wake early and shower or sleep in late? Ah, decisions, decisions. Pigs have the same problem but, mostly because they never shower just like what is slowly happening to you.
They hide their guilty pleasure too:
You feel judged just as much as they do when you are shoving that huge burger in your mouth and having a big desert afterwards. They understand you pain. You don't want anyone to even look at you, just let you live your life. Pigs feel the same way, they hate being judged and looked down upon just because they like to treat themselves.
