1. 3 Arts Café

Located on the Gold Coast: The industrial vibe is perfect for an afternoon cup of espresso. With dishes inspired by Northern California and the Mediterranean, the food will not disappoint. The window filled ceiling allows light to pour in during all seasons. Though the wait can be long, 3 Arts is definitely worth the photo op!

2. Hampton Social

Located in River North: “Rosé all Day” This restaurant has the perfect leafy green wall with a bright neon sign that is just begging to be photographed. The clean white tables make the vibe feel super beachy which with a name like HAMPTON (aka the Hampton’s, a famous group of villages on the East end of Long Island) Social what else would be expected. Everyone who enters will feel as if they are on the East Coast which takes experiential eating to a whole new level!

3. Goddess and The Baker

Located in The Loop and Streeterville: Famously known for the “Eat Now Caffeinate” neon sign, Goddess and the Baker is one of the most photographed places in Chicago. If Friends was set in Chicago I have a feeling that the super cozy vibe of Goddess and the Baker could easily be the replacement of Central Perk any day. Specializing in dessert and coffee, but with an exceptional menu as well, Goddess and The Baker not only looks pretty but tastes delicious.

4. Jelly Fish

Located on The Near North Side: This sushi restaurant is a great escape from the busy streets of Chicago. With rhythmic music inspired by the sea, the ambiance of Jellyfish makes the patrons feel like they are somewhere exotic even though they are only a six-minute Uber to the Magnificent Mile.

Located Lincoln Park:Inspired by the West Coast, Summer House Santa Monica transforms the space into a coastal dream. The beachy decor brings summer time feels to a wintery Chicago. Any season is summer when you are at Summer House.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
