Philadelphia Eagles Adhered To My 5 Ways Of Beating The New England Patriots...Now We're Super Bowl Champions

Last week, I sounded off on five ways that my Philadelphia Eagles would have to do, in order to beat the New England Patriots. Just to reiterate, I told you that we needed to:

1. Ran the football on the 1 yd line.

We did an even better one, by running a trick play with Nick Foles, the QUARTERBACK, who caught a touchdown from Wide Receiver Trey Burton. That play will always be remembered as the "PHILLY SPECIAL," just like their cheesesteaks.

2. Maintained a lead after halftime....sorta.

We had a 22-12 lead heading into halftime. We sorta lost that lead after halftime. It was 32-33 New England in the fourth quarter. And I thought things were about to hit the fan, but by the grace of God it didn't.

3. Paid the referees equally like the Patriots.

My Philadelphia Eagles are the toughest tools in the toolshed. They are the sharpest knives that does not need resharpening. And we win based on merit and sacrifice, not bribery. But the way those Patriots defenders played on Sunday, it seems a little to riggy. Or it was just Nick Foles' brilliance that catapulted the Eagles to their first Super Bowl Championship. It was possibly both, but I am elated either way!!!!!!

4. Didn't Make Costly Mistakes

The Philadelphia Eagles did a great job at game managing, and making the most out of every opportunity that came their way. I mean sure, Nick Foles had an interception, but it was ridiculous the way it was orchestrated, and had no part in it. Both teams combined, only punted 1 time. That is crazy!!! No team played any defense until, my Eagles put the nail in the coffin for the Patriots and Tom Brady. When Brandon Graham punched the ball out of Brady's hand, a Super Bowl parade was brewing!!

5. Had A Confidence That Couldn't Be Taken Away

Just the poise that Nick Foles had the entire game was breathtaking. He had confidence that could not be shaken or stirred by anyone else but him!! The way he was able to step up in the pocket and throw precise dimes down the field to covered receivers, was remarkable.

To ALL and EVERY hater/critic that said he couldn't do it, they were wrong in the most high. And I am glad that they were. This was a battle tested team, that persevered through every obstacle that was put in front of them. Whether it was battling injuries, coming back to take the lead, or even winning with a backup quarterback, we did it right way.

We Knew We Were Great, But He is Greater.

Through God, we were able to defy the odds and win our first of many, Super Bowl Championship. God had them us in his back pocket, and decided to let us win it big time!!!! No one could deny that of our blessing!!!

I am proud to be a Philadelphia Eagle fanatic and gracious to be apart of the Eagles family....even though we are craziest fans in the world. But we are the realest fans and we deserve this one!!!!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
