It's once again summer and time for another 16 house guests to enter the Big Brother House! For those who don't know what Big Brother is, it's a show where 16 houseguests are sequestered into a studio known as "The Big Brother House" where there are cameras everywhere in the house. Just about everyone is fascinated by this show, here's why.

But first, (#ButFirst on twitter), let's talk about this season and the game of Big Brother.

This season brought in 12 new houseguests, Bridgette, Bronte, Corey, Glenn, Jozea, Michelle, Natalie, Paul, Paulie, Tiffany, Victor, Zakiyah. As well as four returning houseguests, or this season referred to as "stowaways" Da'Vonne from BB17, Frank from BB14, James from BB17, Nicole from BB16.

Let me give you the rundown of the game, Shortly after the houseguests enter the house, they compete in the first HOH competition, also known as Head of Household. The HOH is in charge of nominating houseguests for eviction, as well as naming have-nots. The Eviction nominees are up to be eliminated or "evicted." The nominees will usually be said to be on the block as in the chopping block. However to fight for their lives in the House in the POV competition, or the Power of Veto. The POV competition has 5 competitors, the 2 nominees as well as the HOH, and two people picked by random draw. The winner of the POV has the power to veto one of the nominees.

If it's won by one of the nominees, they will usually take themselves off the block. If the HOH wins, one of two things will happen, they will keep the nominations the same, or they will remove their pawn, a houseguest who is there to make sure another houseguest is eliminated, and backdoor another houseguest. A backdoor nomination is when the target houseguest is put on the block after all the competitions so that they are unable to take themselves off the block. Then the houseguests vote in private, as to who they want to eliminate, with the exception the nominees and the HOH. The houseguest with the majority of the vote gets evicted. And it goes on for weeks until the winner can be crowned by the jury.

Now, back the main part of the article, Big Brother is a social phenomenon because the houseguests are recorded 24/7, everywhere in the house, and people subscribe to the live feeds. Controversies and violence happen just about every season, heck there's even a Wikipedia page devoted to it! Click here to view it. The seasons are always full of twists, which change up the season every year.

Such as this season, The twist of four house guests coming back, The BB Roadkill Competition, in which an RV "pulls up" to the house and the houseguests compete to win, and the winner gets to nominate another houseguest, along with the two the HOH nominates. Also, the POV competition this year, the HOH and the three nominees compete, and two names are drawn to fill the other two spots. In addition, if a nominee's or the HOH's name is drawn it becomes their choice who gets to compete.

Also new this year, there is the "Battle Back" competition, where the first five evicted houseguests, get to compete for entry back into the house.

BIg Brother aires on CBS on Sunday and Wednesday 8pm/7pm Central, and on Thursday at 9pm/8pm Central, check your local listings just be on the safe side. You can sign up for the live feeds at cbs.com/bb18.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
