15 Phases Of Stress During Finals Week

Finals. The word that installs fear, sweat, and tears in all college students at the end of each semester. Finals cause us to go absolutely insane for weeks, and once that dreaded week finally approaches, our stress levels hit an all time high. Here are some of the phases of stress that we all go through.

1. When teachers mention finals are quickly approaching:

2. You check what your current grades are:

3. You reevaluate your studying plans and decide cramming the night before isn't the best idea after all:

4. Then you remember you have two group projects, a research paper, and four extra credit assignments due the same week:

5. So now you come to terms with the fact that you have to pick two out of the three...

7. You give yourself some time to grieve:

8. Now all that's left is to actually start studying:

10. Then it's all of a sudden 5 a.m.

11. After pulling an all nighter, your anxiety starts to act up walking into your first final:

12. Especially when the professor says that you CAN use your textbook after all...

13. In between finals it's absolutely acceptable to catch up on sleep at any given time or place:

14. It feels like you're the only one who's dealing with this kind of stress:

15. Once you complete the final final, the hundred pound weights are lifted from your shoulders and you can move onto getting your social life back:

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture. It depends on how good you treat others.

We are all born to do something great. Whether that be to grow up and become a doctor and save the lives of thousands of people, run a marathon, win the Noble Peace Prize, or be the greatest mother or father for your own future children one day. Regardless, we are all born with a purpose. But in between birth and death lies a path that life paves for us; a path that we must fill with something that gives our lives meaning.
