Astrology has always been interesting to me, and recently, I’ve been noticing it make a lot more sense in my daily life than ever before. My personal experiences (as a Scorpio) with each of the signs seems to correlate just a bit with what would be predicted, but I’d like to make my own little chart of personal interactions with them.

Disclaimer: do not take this personally or offensively. I’m simply writing what I, myself, have observed and experienced in my short lifetime with each sign of the zodiac. This is all opinionated, so to speak. And I’m aware, just because you fall under one of these signs does not mean my experience with you will be the same. These are all basically just massive generalizations.

Capricorn (December 21-January 19)

Capricorns make great friends. They’re hard working when they find something they’re passionate about, but they tend to put too much of their time into it. Their instinct, though, is to provide, whether it be for themselves or others, and I respect that. Something else I’ve observed about Capricorns, is their sense of entitlement. I’m not so sure what it is about almost every Capricorn I’ve met, but they all seem to think they’re better than others, for one reason or another.

Aquarius (January 20- February 18)

Never once have I met a boring Aquarius. Each one I’ve met has been quirky and a lot of fun to talk to. Having discussions with them is extremely productive because they’re usually able to see from multiple points of view before coming to a conclusion. They’re kind of shy at first, but once you pull them out of their shell, they’re some of the most fun people I’ve ever met. As far as I can see, they’re very loyal to their friends and will defend them with all it takes.

Pisces (February 19-March 20)

Ah, Pisces, one of my favorite signs of the zodiac. They tend to be bubbly and excitable, yet also intuitive. Of all the Pisces I have met, I have never come across one who is mean to the core. They want to see the best in everybody, but this is ultimately their biggest downfall. Sometimes they put their trust in people who don’t deserve it and this is what ends up getting them hurt. That being said, sometimes they’re labeled as “softies”, but don’t mistake their sweetness for foolishness. If you hurt them, you’re out of their life, no questions asked.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

Some of my closest friends are Aries, needless to say I love this sign. Aries are very much “get up and go” types of people, and extremely determined to reach their goals, whatever they may be. Their optimism and honesty make them some of the best friends you could ever have, not to mention their high energy always makes for a good time. Let me tell you though, Aries love to argue. Not in the sense of yelling at each other, more so heated debates. They’re good at it though, and will always bring valid points to the table if you’re looking to learn something new. I love to challenge them because I know they’ll bounce back with an idea I never would’ve thought about.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is one of the most noticeable signs of the zodiac for me, probably because I know so many. These hard-headed signs do in fact make wonderful friends. That is, until you step in the way of their personal agenda. If you have something they want, they’ll try and take it. If you don’t benefit their goal in some way, chances are they’ll forget about you. I’ve learned personally that Scorpios and Taureans tend to have very strong love/hate relationships, which makes it hard for me to keep stable friendships with them.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Upon finding out somebody is a Gemini, I try to watch my mouth around them. This has enabled me to keep a pretty close friendship with some. You never know who you’re going to get, whether it be their gentle and compassionate side, or the side of them that snaps at the slightest thing and won’t talk to you for a week. They’re extremely smart and quick-witted people, however their thoughtfulness and restlessness tends to be where this other side of personality comes from. As a Gemini who may be reading this, I’m sure one part of you is offended while the other part agrees.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

To me, Cancer means the sign of passive-aggression. However, it also means the sign of sensibility and genuine emotion. Cancers, undoubtedly, rule by their heart and not their head, which can end either good or bad for them. They’re extremely loyal people which leads to them expecting the same in return.

Leo (July 23-August 22)

From what I’ve seen, Leos are very optimistic and creative people. They’re great people to surround yourself with and put off some amazing vibes. However, Leos also tend to thrive off of the attention of others. They use different tactics to achieve this attention, whether it’s being the life of the party or just talking obnoxiously about their sex lives. It’s also very clear when a Leo isn’t getting the attention they feel they deserve because they actually seem to throw little mini temper tantrums by pouting and just being difficult and inflexible.

Virgo (August 23-September 22)

Virgos are odd to me, because I only seem to really hit it off with those closer to the Virgo-Libra cusp. They’re extremely hardworking and are very loyal if they consider you a close friend. My best friend is actually a Virgo and it’s one of the most legitimate friendships I’ve ever had, probably because Scorpios and Virgos hold a lot of the same moral value in certain things. If you’re looking for a good employee or an even better friend, Virgo is where you’ll find it.

Libra (September 23-October 22)

Every Libra I’ve ever met has been a total sweetheart. Genuinely good intentions, their only problem is that sometimes they don’t know what they want. They know what it is they’re looking for, but sometimes upon finding it, they’re left disappointed. This sometimes causes them anxiety which throws them into panic mode, leading them to do things they wouldn’t have done otherwise.

Scorpio (October 23-November 22)

If I could capture the looks on people’s faces upon telling them I’m a Scorpio you’d see some of the most terrified facial expressions in the world. Scorpios are the most intense sign of the zodiac, meaning they love very strong, and hate very strong. On a Scorpio’s good side, you’ll experience a love like never before. But beware of the scorpion’s sting, because I promise you it will hurt. They tend to be extremely stubborn, and hate being lied to, especially because they always find out.

Sagittarius (November 23-December 21)

Sagittarius is another of the sweeter signs of the zodiac, however, their obnoxiousness sometimes keeps people from seeing this. They’re very much into themselves but not in a way that would affect anybody else negatively. So to speak, they’re not selfish or arrogant, but more so confident.

A final disclaimer, this is all very biased. Each of these generalizations is based off of people that I have met that fall under each of the sun signs. It’s nothing personal, just observations.
