At 5'1 and a half (that half really means something), life is somewhat easy. Even though being short used to be a touchy subject for a while (I had to use a phone book to reach the top of my locker in middle school), I've grown used to the perks that it now offers.
1. There’s always leg room on trains, planes, and buses
2. Crowd weaving is a cake walk.
You never have to worry about being in the back of the crowd at a concert since being short allows you to scoot your way up to the front.
3. You never have to worry about crouching down to get through doorways like taller people do.
4.You’re always looking up, literally and metaphorically
5.Save a ton of money wearing kid’s sizes.
I literally bought a pair of vans for $19.99
6. Kids will automatically like you because they think you’re one of them.
7. You’ll always be cute.
8.Needing help reaching the top shelf is a great conversation starter in the grocery store.
9. Even though you’ll be carded forever, later in life it will be a compliment.
10.You can literally fit your entire body underneath tiny throw blankets instead of having to cast out your feet to freeze in the open air.
11. Every potential date will be taller than you (if you dig that sort of thing)
