Business Majors

Andy Dyer

You are always thinking of new marketing techniques (such as new band names??). You set your goals high and never give up, even after you fail. Even when everyone around you believes that your aspirations are too high, and unachievable, you do things your way and surprise everyone by making it big.

Education Majors

Leslie Knope

You're super creative, so your classroom will stay vibrant, colorful, and of course ORGANIZED! You put everyone (your students) needs in front of your own, even if it means loosing sleep, forgetting meals, or even days without showers (okay, maybe don't skip the shower). While everyone in the adult world thinks you're way too bouncy and peppy, your students adore you and think you're the best teacher they've ever had.

Nursing Majors

Ann Perkins

Who better to describe a nursing major than a TV nurse?! Like Ann, you are all about fun and partying, but work (or school, for now) always comes first. People's lives are in your hands! You're patients are number one, even when your crazy BFF would rather you spent the night breaking into construction sites to begin building her park.

Psychology Majors

April Ludgate

Even though you tell people "Shut up, I'm not trying to get inside of your mind" we all know the truth. You're a good person, of course, so even though you can figure out a person and know how to destroy them, you only use your powers for good. You'll never admit it to your friends, but you really love to help people. Not in the way that most help, though, you aren't 100% concerned with their physical well-being, but you're all about where their minds are at.

Engineering Majors

Ben Wyatt

You are a total nerd. It goes beyond the tiny bit of nerd that everyone has in them to something that no one understand but yourself and your other hardcore nerd friends. You often make jokes that would be hilarious to your engineer friends, but with your other friends, you hear crickets. Everyone knows you're crazy smart, but no one ever asks you for tutoring help, because they know you're terrible at explaining why a problem is solved the way it is.

Communications Majors

Tom Haverford

You are a social butterfly! You are constantly connected to what is in the now. You always do your friends the courtesy of keeping them updated on the latest news, fashion, what the celebrities are up to, etc. even when they don't act like they care, you know they really do.

Exercise Science

Chris Traeger

Every day, rain or shine, you are out for your daily run. Usually, just a quick warm up of 10+ miles. Health and fitness is your life, which is why you chose this as your career field.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.
