Parks and Rec has been a Netflix favorite for a while, especially among college students. And there are definitely similarities between our favorite characters and our favorite sororities and fraternities.

1. Leslie Knope - Chi Omega

Leslie would be involved all over campus while still making time for the people she values, just like a Chi Omega. She puts her heart and soul into everything she does. Any Chi O girl would be lucky to have her as a sister.

2. Ann Perkins - Delta Gamma

Even if you've only seen one episode of Parks and Recreation, you can tell that Ann is Leslie's anchor. She keeps Leslie's hope alive. Ann would be the perfect Delta Gamma, not only because the anchor happens to be DG's symbol, but also because she epitomizes true sisterhood.

3. Ron Swanson - Kappa Alpha Order

Men of Kappa Alpha value chivalry. Ron would be a great KA - he is moral, humble, trustworthy, and a true gentleman.

4. Ben Wyatt - Beta Theta Pi

Brothers of Beta Theta Pi value intellectual growth, integrity, and trust. Ben embodies all of these values. Plus, most Betas will probably always be down to get a calzone.

5. Chris Traeger - Pi Kappa Phi

Pi Kappa Phis can make the best out of any situation. Their energy helps lead each college campus where they're represented. Chris is a natural leader, so he'd fit in with Pi Kapp.

6. Andy Dwyer - Sigma Nu

Sigma Nu's mission is to encourage commitment, character, and lifelong friendships. Anyone in Andy's life can count on him to stick around.

7. Tom Haverford - Sigma Chi

Sigma Chis are always pushing themselves beyond people's expectations while making an effort to support their friends. While many of Tom's innovative business ideas may not have succeeded, he's humble enough to learn from his mistakes, and he'll always be supportive of his friends through anything.

8. Donna Meagle - Zeta Tau Alpha

Donna's life is all about royalty, and Zeta Tau Alphas strive to "Seek the Noblest." She's great at hyping things up and loves anything pink, so she'd be a great asset to marketing one of Zeta's philanthropies - Think Pink - which is about breast cancer education and awareness. Every Zeta chapter needs a Donna.

9. Jerry Gergich - Tau Kappa Epsilon

Jerry isn't your typical "frat boy," and Tau Kappa Epsilon isn't your typical fraternity. Many TKE chapters are small and overlooked even though they have some quality people. Jerry definitely isn't perfect, but there's a lot of great work that he does that goes unnoticed.

10. April Ludgate - Unaffiliated

You really think April would willingly join a sorority? Think again.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
