We as society have created this obsession to constantly publicize our physical characteristics. This directs us to fixate far too much on the opinion of others, doubting our own beauty. In hindsight, we become this exhibit of hollowness to those struggling with the exact same destructive habit.
It impedes our own self-worth and decays our self-love.
We find ourselves possessing this urge to cope with our insecurites by degrading others and creating a vicious cycle of judgmental behaviour. Loving others is challenging when we do not adhere to the same principle. An epidemic in this unknowingly alluring world.
It is vital we recognize this is a problem and participate in the building blocks of a solution.
This void of esteem furthers us from truly living happy. When we do not achieve that admiration for ourselves, we prevent the honest gratification of valuing the diverse elegance of others. This is detrimental to the progression of our social and emotional wellbeing, hindering the development of an array of relationships we build over our lifetime.
Our appearance is not for others, it is for us. You are not some sort of presentation looking to be appointed first place, we are a decadent ambience waiting to flourish our minds with those alike. We have passions, feelings, desires and knowledge to plant and grow alongside those who we care about. We need to take the time to indulge in the very soul and skin we live in everyday, believing in its influence.
Not because we can, strictly because we have to.
Let us not focus all of our attention on what is on the outside when we know how phenomenal we are on the inside.
