Christmas is by far the most magical time of the year and in my opinion, ornaments play a huge role in that magic.
Anyone who knows me knows that ornaments are my favorite thing in the whole world. I love gifting them as much as I love getting them and the kiosks at the mall are my go to stop during December.
Christmas trees that look like this force me to believe that you lead a mundane life with no joy.
My Christmas tree is filled with unique ornaments that describe our lives. We colored lights and our names on deer, "baby's first Christmas" for the year 1982 and 1998. We have our pets' pictures, vacation mementos, Dunkin' Donuts cups, cheerleaders, braces, car keys, cardinals, snowmen, teddy bears, my parent's anniversary and first Christmas together, and pictures of my sister and I.
There are angels and bells and memorial doves and hearts for my grandparents, pets, uncle, and father.
There is not one "boring" bulb on that tree. I can look at every ornament and know exactly who it's for and what it means and I love that. We have so many ornaments that nearly every branch has a memory on it, weighing it down.
I want to look at your tree and know how many children you have and what sports they play. Christmas is all about love and family and your tree should represent that.
